Outline format for this holiday update:
- Cool today, turning much warmer this short work week; temps popping into the high 80s - low 90s.
- Weekend of Sep 7,8 looks dry, with slight cooling on Sunday, more so on Mon the 9th.
- Week of Sep 9-13 trending mild (60s-70s primarily) with chance for showers over Vancouver Island on the 9th; another shot of showers on Wed, mainly over Cascades, east into ID. Fri the 13th looks rather warm. Muggy mid-week.
- Weekend of Sep 14,15 looks dry & warm. Mt Angel Oktoberfest time.
- Week of Sep 16-20 trending warm to start, then cold front dropping in from BC, to set up possible showers by end the week.
